After some fun in the Parisian sun, we took a train through Brussels up to Amsterdam. By pure chance I ran into 2 friends from University that just happened to be there at the same time.
We had an amazing tour guide who took us through Amsterdam’s history from WWII through too the background of some of its more colourfully qualities which its known for now.
We took a bike tour as well, which I can’t stress enough, is a must. We stopped in for a beer at a windmill brewery before heading off to the ‘Pee Bridge’ and the ‘I Am Amsterdam’ letters out front the Rijksmuseum.
Amsterdam was easily one of the most unique and interesting cities I saw, beyond just the architecture and it’s history, there were so many things to do from the Allied Museum to the Heineken Brewery to biking over bridges and canals. It’s a beautiful place thats I can’t recommend enough for a euro-trip.
