After a quick train ride south through Italy, I ended up in Florence. Starting to slow my pace down, I walked up a mountain side to Piazzale Michelangelo, walked to the other side over looking a valley and took the best nap of my life.
From there I checked out the Florence Cathedral, Statue of David (where I ran into more engineering grads) and did what I do best, take off into the city. I found a small museum down a street from the main sqaure which had re/creations of DaVinci’s sketches and contraptions, from ball bearings to his tank, it was a Mechanical Engineers dream 😀
After a very restful few days in Florence I headed off to my last stop, to where all roads lead.
